. What type of insurance coverage is this?
This insurance policy does not duplicate insurance provided by or purchased through the car rental company; it will not pay for losses reimbursed by your own insurer or any other valid insurance. However, it will pay for the outstanding portion or other charges not covered by your primary automobile insurance policy.

. What to do in case the car rental company insists that you purchase    their car insurance?
It is not necessary or mandatory to accept and purchase CDW/LDW offered by the vehicle rental agency. You may find that the rental agency counter sales executives apply force to purchase their own loss damage waiver (LDW) policy.
If you require assistance at the counter of the rental station where they are reluctant to accept this Evidence of LDW Insurance, please call Specialty Claims and they will be able to confirm to the rental / sales staff that this Evidence of Insurance is admissible.

. How to make sure of the validity of this insurance?

. What to do if you have an accident or the rental vehicle is stolen?
Immediately call the insurance company. They will answer any questions you or the car rental agency may have and will then send you a claim form.
All claims must be reported within 30 days after the occurrence or commencement of any loss or event covered by this insurance.
When completed, the claim form should be returned to the insurance company at the below address, with all documentary evidence:

- a copy of the car rental company accident report form
- a copy of the entire car rental agreement
- a copy of the repair estimate or itemized repair bill
- two photographs of the damaged vehicle
- a police report
- any other documentation deemed necessary to substantiate the claim

Failure to complete the claim correctly, sign the form or to provide the required documentation may prejudice or delay your right to indemnity or benefit. The documentation submitted is at your expense and your attention in also drawn to the Excess or Deductibles appearing under this insurance.
